From my childhood, whether it was with my father or my friends, I always enjoyed watching and walking in nature. As I grew older and older, I felt the need to immortalize those moments it offered me, through photography. The first basics learned with a camera, I decided to challenge myself to simply photograph the sparrows that came to the bird feeder. I had just unknowingly made the first step in wildlife photography, I did not yet know that this virus would turn into a consuming passion that makes me meet and exchange, travel, live moments of observation and intimacy with wildlife. Looking for the slightest hint that can leave the fox, the ermine, the great horned owl, trying to understand how a wild boar group or a deer herd live. This quest has become vital over the years for my balance. I photograph on the lookout or the approach, adapting my behaviour to the species. Neither the noise nor the smell, nor the gesture could betray my presence, but what a reward when I can take a photo or simply observe the fauna.

Exposition

It was at the beginning of winter when I heard some noise running through our suspending ceilings, that I decided to meet this fauna that lives under my roof. The first photographs were made without using bait, just on their crossing point. The three mice Mickey, Minnie and Jerry loved our food stocks and my wife explained to me that for the peace of households, it would be better  that their movements would be concentrated in the attic. So I decided to offer them a place to stay, a place to eat and drink in this place.Filming their movements in order to anticipate their habits, I quickly realized there was another boarder «Ragotte» The grey rat. Some of the photos took me more than two months and for some others, it was the mice which won and the photographer who capitulated. Mickey, Minnie and Jerry and Ragotte are still healthy today …
