Pascal BOURGUIGNON has been photographing nature since the age of 15. He He began using camera trapping at an early age, photographing a beech marten in the family garden. His makes his passion his job. Specialized in nature and environment, he also practices aerial photography with paramotoring. Fujifilm brand ambassador, he made the images of this exhibition with a 100 Mpix camera.
Daniel MAGNIN began the photography in 1990. He was then a teacher, a profession that he gradually left to make some reports for the press magazine with, in particular, many articles on the practice of nature photography, in the magazines “Chasseur d’Images” and “Nat’Images”.
It was by equipping himself with an automatic video camera that he discovered a new passion for camera trapping.

Exposition
Our project started with the use of small automatic video cameras and we decided very quickly to get higher-definition photographs and we have assembled the necessary equipment : 50 and 100 Mpx cameras, detectors, flashes, cables, transmitters, receivers… We targeted common mammals living in our closest environment. We have attached great importance to the composition of the images, designed, above all, as “animal landscapes”, and to the quality of the lighting, made with a view to minimal disturbance, but also aesthetic, in infrared light. The files thus obtained can only be converted into black and white, which, for us, was obvious anyway, for night views.
