Photographs
Born in 1959, from Alsace, retired
Amazed observer and amateur photographer since my youth, it’s been a decade since I discovered pareidolia, this alchemy where natural elements take shape and life, revealing familiar silhouettes in the textures of trees, the contours of the rocks and the tortuous stumps. Since that revelation, pareidolia has become more than a passion, it has become a way of life. Each walk is a treasure hunt, each observation an invitation to discover unsuspected shapes.
Armed with an sharpened eye and an overflowing sensitivity, I share through my photographs the secret poetry of nature.

Exposition
This exhibition is an invitation to dive into the fascinating universe of natural pareidolia, these works of art created by the magical forces of nature.
May these images awaken the sleeping child in each of us, inviting us to see the world with eyes full of wonder and magic.
Pareidolia: a combination of the Greek words “para” (aside) and “eidolon” (form, appearance) , pareidolia, especially in nature, is a phenomenon where our brain perceives recognizable shapes, such as faces or animals, where there are not really. It’s essentially our mind that tries to make sense of ambiguous visual stimuli.
Let our imagination wander. And you. What do you see?
