Photographs
A self-taught photographer based in Lorraine, France, Laurent draws inspiration from his horticultural roots. His initial training instilled in him a deep fascination for biodiversity, which evolved into a passion for photography in 2018. Very quickly, his focus turned toward the infinitely small and the essential: the honeybee.
Since 2020, he has dedicated the core of his work to this insect—an environmental sentinel and a pillar of pollination. His expertise and the precision of his shots have led him to collaborate with L’Abeille de France at international trade fairs and congresses. First noticed in 2021 at the Natur’images Festival, he now participates in major nature photography events, from Rambouillet to the prestigious Montier-en-Der International Nature Photography Festival in 2
Exposition
“The Bees’ Ball” is a photographic and scenographic immersion that transcends naturalistic observation to celebrate the bee as a true artistic figure. Through the lens, the insect is no longer merely an agent of biodiversity, but becomes the protagonist of a grand ballet choreographed by light and wind.
