Tanguy Stoecklé Professional photographer and filmmaker, a specialist in bats. Tanguy has been exploring nature since he was a child. In 1992, at the age of 20 he was assistant filmmaker and he discovered the world of bats. It’s a revelation until his passion for nature quickly majored and until he spent all his time to photography and study these winged mammals. In 1994, the Luberon Regional Natural Park employed him as a conscientious objector with the mission of carrying out an inventory of bats in this almost data-free territory. Bats are not really studied and even less photographed or filmed. Passionate, he founded, with some friends, the "Groupe Chiroptère de Provence" where he was the first employee in 1999. Thus, he studied bats all over the Provence. The same year, the "Fondation Marcel Bleustein Blanchet pour la Vocation" honoured him with one of its allocation. Traveler, he travels the rest of the world to make his reports. His photos are published by the GAMMA and BIOS agencies. He is published in the GEO, National Geographic, Animan, Terre Sauvage magazines, etc. In 2005 a return to the sources. The arrival of quality digital cameras and especially infrared leds, opened the way for him to the world of cinema to make films about bats. His second film «Une vie de Grand Rhinolophe» won, among other things, the 'Lirou d'or', the "Grand prix" of the Ménigoute film festival in 2014. Time does not alter his passion and in 2015, to deepen his research, to increase his production of images and to set up his projects, he created his company: NOCTILIO Productions. Awards :

Exposition

In his quest for bats, Tanguy Stoecklé photographed and filmed his other encounters. He likes to say that this research on "his" winged mammals that he has been conducting for almost 30 years, is a pretext to travel and meet peoples, landscapes and many other animals. The exhibition presented will not be about bats but rather around bats. The opportunity to discover the beginnings of a long ongoing work on Amazonian bats and especially, through his other images made in the jungle, which have been motivated Tanguy for so many years, to pursue the damsels of the night...«Guyana, Human and Wild» is an exhibition that will be a relevant mix of photos on art prints and videos slowmotions unseen on screen. It will also be innovative, thanks to the presentation, for the first time in a festival, of a hologram of a real bat in flight, filmed in ultra-slow motion!
