  GREENPEACE is an international network of independent politically and financially organizations, that act according to the principles of non-violence to protect the environment, biodiversity and promote peace. It relies on a movement of engaged citizens to build a sustainable and equitable world. Our priority is to fight against climate change. All our campaigns contribute to responding to the climate emergency and the erosion of biodiversity, by acting on the root causes of these disruptions: Agriculture-Forests, Oceans and Climate-Energy. We are also promoting new rules for globalization, defending a fairer, transparent and equitable trade model. Finally, since its inception, GREENPEACE has called for the disarmament and elimination of nuclear weapons, and today, for the rights of refugees and victims of conflicts or climate change. The power and mobilization of citizens are at the heart of our work and our method of action.
