Born in 1978 in the Charente, my parents sensitized me to the nature very quickly and the mountain fauna in particular. Then, long scientific studies forced me to give up, for a time, my passion for nature. In 2008, after a thesis and a post-doctorate, I become teacher-researcher in the Toulouse area. Having very little time to practice photography, I nevertheless have the privilège of being closer to my dear mountains in which I go for them, as much as possible. I regularly exhibits my works in major French and European festivals, collaborates with the specialized press and television and has been awarded in many national and international contests. In 2017, I published my first book about the birds of the Ariège région, the result of seven long years of work.  A large aprt of this book is focused on a small hawk, the "Elanus caeruleus". In 2019, I realized my second book about the Ptarmigan of the Pyrenees. Finally wildlife photography is for me a pretext to go out into nature and a formidable way of discovery, expression but above awareness.

Exposition

The Pyrenees have the opportunity to receive three species of mountain gallinaceous including the charming and enigmatic Ptarmigan. Living to the high peaks, it is an excellent barometer of the evolution of open altitude environments, to which climate changes and human-behavior are currently he subject of major changes. There is no doubt that its survival in our mountains is closely linked to the efforts we are prepared to preserve it. I invite you to discover the Pyrenean Ptarmigan living in Ariège and Haute-Garonne French regions, one of the most fascinating and singular birds of French avifauna.
