Photography started to attract me very early. Quite quickly, it became essential, passing from a simple tool of testimony to a real artistic form of expression.
My images quickly focused on the mountain, with a strong appeal to dark and surreal atmospheres, and both pictorial and cinematographic influences. Fascinated by wild lands, I go to altitude in search of new atmospheres, always with the best intentions : not just show what I see, but try to feel what I’m living.
Exposition
The night lightning seems to be relics of past times, a creature of shadow whose supernatural aura has left its mark in almost all mythologies. In the secret of the mountains, storms open fleeting windows through reality, moments that humans should not witness.
Some images, fine balances between fantasized compositions and unexpected revelations, are mirages that I have been trying to approach for many years. Sometimes, within a fraction of a second, these moments crystallize in the dark and are printed on the sensor. Gathered here, they constitute a journey into the depths of the night.
