Yann LEBECEL is a naturalist coming from Lorraine, involved for many years in different associations. His passion for the wildlife was born 20 years ago, when he read, among others, the books of Robert HAINARD, and discovered, through them, what would become his animal symbol: the Badger. Since his first encounter, this mustelidea, with the appearance of a bear , will not leave him. After years of devoting a large part of his free time to this animal, he decided to create in 2018, with other naturalists, the Blaireau & Sauvage association, in order to study, protect and better promote this unknown mammal of our forests.

Exposition

The badger is a common wild animal of our forests, but little known. The teddybear look of this mustelidea and its particular ways make it intriguing and endearing. Robert HAINARD saw in the badger, «a cult of the bear brought back to the size of our modest nature». Through a series of pictures accompanied by texts, this exhibition invites you to (better) know this animal still cruelly hunted in France. it 's also the opportunity to discover the association Blaireau & Sauvage.
