Montier Photo Festival

Festiphoto de la Forêt de Rambouillet (FFRO)

The aim of the FFRO association is to organize the Rambouillet Wildlife and Nature Photo Festival, field workshops and exhibitions in order to make the public aware of an approach respectful of the fauna and flora in so-called natural environment. Its events highlight the revealing photography of the balance between fauna, flora, nature and environment, from an artistic, documentary to an even scientific perspective. This is based on observations made in the surrounds of Rambouillet and Ile-de-France compared to those made in other areas from France, Europe and the world. The priority given to the comparative dimension of photographs taken on different geographical areas makes it possible to reveal and illustrate the various dynamic balance systems that make up the diversity of our planet.

Every year, we organize a regional contest. The 100 winners continue an exhibition that we call THE ENCHANTED FOREST. The top 20 are drawn, in large format, and constitute the BEST OF exhibition of our contest. This year’s exhibition is a Best Of of the BEST OF with the aim of best illustrating biodiversity.
