It has been several years that I have been participating in the Montier Photo Festival, and always accompanied.
First of all, in 2013 with: «Les nomades du Grand Nord», a color exhibition on the short-eared owl, with Laurent BOSSAY and Philippe LEGER, then in 2018, with: «Petite Beauce secrète», an exhibition on the wildlife of the territory of the «Petite Beauce», with Laurent BOSSAY, and, regularly since 2014, as president of the photographic hunting association in the Centre-Val-de-Loire region: the ACPC with its exhibition: “Regards nature”, which is a great success at the port of Giffaumont.
In 2021, I was alone this time, with my exhibition on the whiskered tern called “A plumes et à cris”

Exposition

For several years now, I have been going in search of the short-eared owl (Asio Flammeus) on territories close to my home.
Indeed, colonies of several individuals came to spend the winter here, in the large calcareous grasslands.
Vole populations fluctuate over the years, which also influences owl numbers.
Unfortunately, the massive destruction of the micro-mammal leads to a significant drop in the numbers of these owls on our territories.
Moreover, this phenomenon is observed at the national level.
With this exhibition in black and white, I wanted to pay tribute to this magnificent bird that makes many photographers dream.
