Photographs
It was my dad who passed on to me his passion for nature and photography. So it was natural for me to become a nature photographer. Gérald SCIBOZ, a photographer from Fribourg, motivated me to look for subjects other than family souvenirs, and my passion for close-up photography was born. My favourite subjects are drawings in ice, snow and rock. I honed my skills thanks to the Photo Club Fribourg (PCF), which I chaired for 5 years.
Ever since I was young, the word ‘Andromeda’ has thrilled me, and it was thanks to a small, unexpected inheritance that I was able to take up astrophotography.
In fact, it’s also thanks to photography that I’ve remained a big kid, marvelling at the beauty of nature and the deep sky.
En fait, c’est aussi grâce à la photographie que je suis resté un grand enfant, émerveillé par la beauté de la nature et du ciel profond.

Astrophotography teaches me humility and shows me just how much I am a tiny being who ultimately knows very little about what is going on around him. It is an impressive addition to the magnificent picture that I continue to paint in my soul, a picture that is an assembly of all the beauties that nature offers me. Sometimes, through my photographic eye, I take the liberty of sharing my emotions with anyone who is willing to open their heart.
