The 27th Festival Photo Montier (Haute-Marne/ Grand Est Region), will take place from 21st to 24th of November.
The Festival Photo Montier will welcome 3 guests of honor:
- “Theme of the year” : Yannick GOUGUENHEIM (FR)
- “Foreign” : Sandra BARTOCHA (DE)
- “Photoreporter” : Thomas NICOLON (FR)
A presentation by our guest of honour, Thomas NICOLON:
Multimedia storyteller and a National Geographic explorer, his photo work focuses on wildlife conservation, and has been published in National Geographic, Le Monde, GEO, Mongabay, Reuters, and many more outlets.
Thomas lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo for 5 years, where he worked as a correspondent for news channel France 24, as well as a photographer and videographer for WCS, WWF, Unicef , and others. He also lived in Peru for two years, documenting wildlife trafficking the Amazon basin.
His exhibition “The last forest elephant paradise” will be visible at the Lucy Lebon Fondation (site #7).
