Wildlife photographer, author and speaker Maxime ALIAGA has spent the past eighteen years exploring the tropical forests of Latin America, Africa and Asia. His work grows from patient immersion in the natural world, with the aim of conveying the intensity of wild encounters and revealing worlds that often remain unseen. Published in international magazines and recognised in major photography competitions, his images combine artistic vision, natural history storytelling and commitment. An Associate Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, he develops long-term projects connected to the understanding and protection of ecosystems.
Exposition
SELVA is the culmination of eighteen years spent exploring the jungles of Latin America, Africa and Asia. Maxime ALIAGA’s most personal and ambitious project, the exhibition finally brings together a long-term photographic body of work devoted to tropical forests and their wildlife. From water and the forest floor to the night and the canopy, visitors journey through the forest’s different layers and discover a teeming, mysterious world that often remains hidden at first glance. Conceived as an extension of the book SELVA, the exhibition offers an immersive experience and an invitation to slow down, feel and look anew at the fragile beauty of the living world.
