It all began during a beautiful summer, evening with a movie screening with friends, in a town in the inner Parisian belt. The kind of social project, that seemed far from any activity that might lead to nature photography. And yet, it was that very evening, in an open-air cinema, a few minutes from my home, that I first encountered a family of foxes, who had taken up residence in the area. No matter, I made visit to this family, for the following evenings, to observe and photograph them.

Exposition

Living in the suburbs of Paris, I discovered nature after spending time in the countryside. My curiosity evolved into a passion for wildlife… but how can I satisfy it in an urban environment? Over time, I learned to observe wildlife that we don’t pay much attention to : the one living on the outskirts of cities. What memories! That first encounter with the black woodpecker, the kingfisher, or even the first fox, species that I would never have thought I would observe in Paris. Photography came naturally to this and has allowed me to share these discoveries, for almost 20 years. Learning nature photography, in a particular environment, has pushed me to cultivate this difference in my photos.
