Photographs
I discovered photography at the age of 14. It quickly became a true passion, although I put it aside for many years until my retirement. Since then, I have returned to photography, first focusing on landscapes, then close-up and macro photography, and for the past decade, wildlife photography.
Throughout my photographic journey, I have always been drawn to beautiful light and evocative atmospheres. For me, the subject alone is no longer enough to create a compelling image. Its surroundings must enhance it, giving the photograph depth, emotion, and a true sense of place.

Feathers and Pebbles
The Little Ringed Plover is a discreet and often overlooked bird, largely because it is so difficult to spot. It breeds and nests on gravel pits, sand quarries, and the pebble-covered banks of rivers. Its sandy plumage and rounded shape provide remarkable camouflage, making it almost invisible when it remains still.
Through this series of photographs, I hope to introduce you to this small wading bird, instantly recognizable by the bright yellow eye-ring that surrounds its dark eye—a striking detail that stands out against its perfectly concealed body.
