Photographs
I discovered photography more than 35 years ago, the transition to nature photography took place a little later, after meeting Laurence, who would become my wife.
My photographs are coming from trips made during family holidays, sometimes from one side of the world to the other, but also throughout the year in closer places, my garden or the Arcachon bay, for example.
Since 2010, my images have been noticed by different distinctions in national and international contests.
As an author photographer, my images are provided by the photo agency “Naturagency”.
Exposition
How to submit photographs of common birds in our country that are not already seen time and again? This is the approach chosen to build the exhibition «White Feathers», an initial idea of 2019, in its third version today. «White Feathers» seeks a very bright performance, to keep only the graphics of the species and scenes presented.
“White Feathers” is made up of black and white photographs, in a “High Key” manner. The preparation of images goes as far as fusing the lighter parts of the plumage into an almost uniform white background.
