Photographs
A self-taught photographer from the Hautes-Alpes region, I have been based in Chamonix for nearly 25 years.
I work as a mountain guide, photographer, and science communicator in astronomy.
I try to explore various photographic disciplines (sports, landscapes, photojournalism, macro, wildlife, astrophotography, studio…) with a clear preference for both daytime and nighttime landscapes, as well as wildlife photography.
Exposition
The images on display are photographs of nebulae taken through a telescope, with the stars digitally removed to better highlight the intricate details of the nebulosity — resulting in what looks like a true cosmic painting.
A few images of aurora borealis, captured in May and October 2024 under our French latitudes, are also included.
You can see the surroundings of Chamonix, as well as Lac du Der during the auroras of the night of October 10th to 11th, 2024.
