Palmarès 2021

From Thursday evening, the jury met around a great country picnic dinner prepared by Maud, this time is spending in a joyous and easy-going atmosphere.We are eager to discover all the images sent but we have to wait until the next morning to discover the selection of the technical committee.

For the 2021 contest, 2 879 photographs is waiting for us (out of 18,658 uploaded on the site) as well as 20 videos (out of 104 received), among which 83 nationalities are represented int the contest.

The program is « easy » : We have to select few images on each of the 9 photo categories and on 2 age groups: about 2 photos per category for – 16 years old and about 8 images for over 16 years old. ; All in two very busy days

In fact, we recognized that the choices are very difficult because many images could win the great prize. Fortunately we can choice a few additional favorites photos to complete the exhibition.
We selected the images that are the result of a work of author by a naturalistic and original photographic search. The emotion that emanates from the image remained a priority but also the search for a look, a lighting, an instant, an innovative framing.

We would be lying if we pretend that we were all still in line, but the final stage of the contest gives us all satisfaction.
However, improvements have been identified for later contests.

Too often they often lack crucial informations like places where the photo was taken (country, region), the name of the species, a small explanation for complex topics.

Our encouragement to the youngest who proposed us beautiful images.
The categories that remain weak by the number of images sent are landscape as well as « man and nature relationship».

A big thank to the members of the technical committee, Maud, Stéphane, Michel, Pascal without whom this contest could not be realized.
A big thank also to all those who sent their best images that we had a lot of fun to watch, dissect, admire.
Lastly, we reluctantly eliminated too many good images to select only those that excited us and aroused many passions.
Great speeches are useless, so we invite you to let yourself be rocked, surprised, amazed, exalted by these images.
