Photographs
A professional photographer for more than 10 years, I live at the foot of the Cévennes. Oscillating between macro photography and night landscapes, I find the same emotions. These hours spent contemplating the stars, dreaming in the moonlight, breathing in a flower, are a real vital need. Driven by the desire to raise public awareness about the protection of nature and the night, I have had three books published, as well as articles in magazines, radio and TV interviews. I also give lectures, make documentary films and exhibit at photo festivals in Europe. I offer photo workshops with the agency Un oeil sur la Nature. Finally, I collaborate with certain nature reserves or parks, companies and environmental associations.
Exposition
This Night and White series takes us to the heart of winter nights, to meet the trees under the snow. Walking in the dark and cold, facing the wind and guessing the silhouette of a tree in front of you is always a moment full of magic. It’s as if a very strong bond is formed with him, the energy he gives off becomes palpable. Our black and white night vision allows us to focus on the essentials. And the falling snow accentuates the magic of the moment. Sometimes caress, sometimes bite, the air is in symbiosis with the tree. To sit next to him, in the dark and under the snow, is to feel the forces of the living.
