Bertrand developed a passion for nature photography at a very young age. He has approached emblematic species such as the Muskox, the white-tailed Eagle, the Japanese Macaque, and the Arctic wildlife. The vast forests of southern Paris and the Vanoise National Park are an endless source of inspiration for him. Axelle has been practicing drawing and watercolor for as long as she can remember. She loves sketching in the great outdoors, capturing moments in travel journals, and engaging with curious observers. Surrounded by their two sons, they share numerous trips, moments in nature, and artistic projects. They support and inspire each other, offering a different and complementary perspective on the world.
Exposition
A snowstorm… It’s time … It’s time to face the elements, to find that rare gem: the lone tree that stands out in a white landscape, that stands up to winter in the heart of the plains and mountains. When everything around us takes on shades of white, flakes float in the wind, and mists and clouds blur our bearings, colors and contrasts fade. Nature becomes refined, minimalist, authentic, eventually revealing only the essential. Even the marked and enduring footprint of Man on his environment fades away.
