Photographs
Guided by a desire to understand, observe and witness to the beauty of Life, and to know it better to protect it. My photographs are almost only collateral benefits. This spirit and approach led me to participate in research actions, in the monitoring of protected species and on the complex issues of coexistence with humans. I am a professional naturalist-photographer and project manager “Lynx” at the French Society for the Study and Protection of Mammals (SFEPM). The SFEPM is carrying out an outgoing programm of genetic research and diet in natura non-invasive, pilot the Communication, Awareness and Valorisation component of the Lynx National Action Plan (PNA), and he is a member of its steering committee.
Exposition
Since my first tracking in the late 2000s in the Pre-Alps of Haute-Savoie, the eurasian lynx has fascinated me. By its key role in ecosystems, its presence and its beauty, the big feline attracts me in its forests, loving me. It stands apart for its ability to be undetected, its discretion, its silence and its singular nonchalance. it’s very rare to see and shooting it.
The exhibition is the result of fifteen years of field monitoring. All shots are taken in the Jura mountains.
