Albin PANISSET. I was born in the Haut-Jura in Saint-Claude in 1999. My parents, also from the Jura, made me discover the Jura all my childhood. I started my journey in the world of photography at age 13 and, it all began after reading a newspaper article depicting the photo exhibition of one of my high-school teachers. Therefore, I set out to explore the surrounding paths and fields nearby the family home, looking for fascinating subjects to shot through my lens. Flowers, insects, animals, no element of nature seemed to me banal. During all these escapades, a growing passion for the Jura massif seized me, leading me to gradually specialize in landscape photography.
Exposition
After more than five years of exploration through the Jura mountains, I wanted, through “Furtive lights”, to highlight the winter dreamlike atmospheres of the massif. Beyond the visible aspect of the project, pre-investment in outings planning is crucial. The weather is an essential thread. The choice of destination becomes a test. The likelihood of seeing the desired subject depends closely on the presence of these ingredients. These images aim to reveal the existence of a resilient and exceptional nature, demonstrating its ability to transcend us. This nature invites us to keep our humility, in front of it.
