The son of former shepherds, I grew up with the Mercantour Mountains as my playground. It was only much later, after settling in Auvergne, that I took up photography. I immediately became passionate about an emblematic species: the European Otter, to which I still devote most of my time today, trying to learn more and more about this discreet mustelid.
Exposition
This exhibition retraces six years of fieldwork on the trail of the European Otter, at my home, in Auvergne. From my first observations on a mid-mountain lake to my first river surveys, I invite you to try to unravel some of the mysteries surrounding this creature, which occupies a unique place in our collective imagination and in the hearts of many naturalists.
