I am a cabinetmaker by profession and a photographer by passion. I started photography in 2013 and was quickly fascinated by the emotions a single image can create.
I enjoy wildlife photography in many forms, but spending time in a hide is what brings me the greatest sense of peace and satisfaction.
Today, I see myself as a nature photographer, always searching for a beautiful image, but never at the expense of wildlife.
A big part of the enjoyment comes from observing and understanding the behaviour of the animals I photograph, film, or simply watch.
This time-consuming passion follows me wherever I go. It is an essential part of my life.
Exposition
This exhibition focuses on the Wallcreeper, often called the “butterfly bird” because of its striking crimson wings. It follows a single bird during its winter stay, over a five-month period from November 2019 to March 2020.
The bird, a male, gradually developed its breeding plumage, including its distinctive black throat, before returning to the mountains to nest.
What makes this project special is the opportunity to observe and photograph this beautiful species outside the breeding season, allowing for close observation without causing any disturbance
