We are volunteers at the Société d’Astronomie de la Haute-Marne (SAHM), based at the Valcourt observatory, the only observatory in the department. Of the 60 members of the SAHM, 6 of us, aged between 20 and 50, belong to the new astrophotography section, which was set up recently. We’re all amateurs, but we all love sleepless nights in the cold, with a good cup of coffee, next to our equipment. Whether we’re observing or taking photos of the wonders of the night sky, it’s always a pleasure.
