Nature guide, diver, videographer and wildlife photographer, Thomas ROGER has been documenting deep sea fauna, for over 20 years. In 2013, he published the reference book: “Pelagos”, which won the world prize for underwater photography. Then, in 2023, after 3 years freediving in order to film the giants of the “grande bleue” (the Mediterranean Sea), he made and produced the film “Pelagos, a voyage on the high Mediterranean sea”. Openhearted, he will enjoy immortalising moments of nature as much as sharing them with other photographers, the general public and children, through trips out to sea and educational projects.
Since 2018, the call of the open sea has led him further afield. He has fixed his objective, on immortalising the most spectacular oceanic feasts
Exposition
At any one moment on our planet, nature offers us moments of wild life. But at certain times of the year, for a few days, a few weeks or sometimes a few months, it displays master pieces of a rare intensity, undiluted ephemeral life.
Thomas ROGER, photographer and freediver, has returned to the open sea in an attempt to unveil these exhilarating moments. Through the exhibition “A banquet fit for Kings” he has let his gaze linger on some of the most spectacular feeding rallies the oceans have to offer!
