Evanescence, le temps d’un hiver

Evanescence is a personal research on minimalist atmospheres and clean landscapes, photographed from my doorstep to the northern regions of Europe. Snow, ice and mist form the soul of this purely photographic work, the common thread that has nourished my photographic sensibility for nearly fifteen years. In January 2021, when the Aubrac plateau has been covered with snow for several weeks, I decide to go in search of the landscapes so dear to my eyes. Far from the weight of the curfew imposed by the COVID period, I find atmospheres close to Lapland. The roads often cut by «turmoil» force me to go off the beaten paths and plunge me into a magical universe, where the lines fade and become purely evanescent.
