Photographs
I grew up in the “Wild West” of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Since I was a child, I have travelled through the forests and streets surrounding my village, to discover nature and its inhabitants. Naturally, I begin to film the wild world around me. For almost two decades, I have devoted most of my free time to nature photography. My photos are regularly shown in individual and collective exhibitions. They are published in specialised nature magazines and have been awarded at international competitions.
Exposition
“To be in one’s element” is the leitmotiv of this exhibition, which is articulated around the four elements. It represents a collection of most of my photographic work over the last ten years, during which I have followed the wildlife around us and elsewhere intensively. All living beings are intimately linked to their environment and live in harmony with the elements – in the earth, the blaireau digs his terrier, the deer defends his territory – in water, the greve finds his food, and the castor builds his hut there. The air carries the handsome young woman on her first flight. The light, this magical fire that comes to us from the depths of space, sublimates the hosts and inspires wonder.
