  Photographs

I started photography in 1980, when shooting meant film rolls. Born in the paris area, I always chose to escape when I could towards the most beautiful regions of the world where nature is preserved. Since I moved in the Alps in Grenoble a few years ago, I have enjoyed touring the mountains, and picturing landscape and local wildlife. I also discovered the beauty of the night skies, mirroring on a still mountain lake. I have developed love for the snowy landscapes, at my place as well a in the Nordic countries, when the bright white of the snow cleans the surroundings and give the feel of a nature ready to be reborn.

Exposition

First days of April, the harshest part of winter has passed; the last snowfalls barely interrupt the nice spring sun warming the snow-packed grounds. The Eiders, who took shelter in the deep fjords, will soon fly away towards their breeding place further north; the puffins, shags, and razorbills are getting ready to build their nest and start again the immutable cycle of life. The last snow flakes of the winter has surprised all these birds, in this month of April 2023.
