Complementarity. This is certainly the word that characterises us. Camille comes from the South and likes macro photography. Bastien comes from the North and spends his time on the prowl. The Haute Corrèze has been our base and its rural character allows us to live closer to our environmental convictions. This little corner of France where meadows, streams and forests follow one another has become our playground. We are convinced that the fauna and flora of our countryside has nothing to envy to the most exotic countries. We take our photos in a perimeter very close to where we live and wish to highlight this heritage which is too often in the shade…

Exposition

We propose a series of photographs entitled “from shadow to light”. In chiaroscuro or in silhouette, the subjects are highlighted by the contrasts of light and exposure. We obtained the majority of these photographs by under-exposure and by looking for an environment with contrasting light.

Convinced that our local biodiversity has nothing to envy to the most exotic fauna, we take our photographs in a perimeter very close to our home in the heart of the Haute-Corrèze.

Our photographs are printed on washi paper, a handmade, 100% ecological paper made from an invasive plant (kozo). This paper with Japanese origins is made in the Hérault region of France by Benoit and Stéphanie from the “Atelier Papetier”.
