Photographs
Alexandre and Ananda are a couple of professional photographers and videographers, specializing in nature and travel photography and video. They are particularly fond of the Far North, for its wild and grandiose landscapes and the animals that inhabit them.
Passionate about discovery and adventure, they travel the globe, in search of the most beautiful landscapes and animal encounters they love so much.
For several years now, they’ve been working as photographic guides in Iceland, a country they’ve considered living in for its grandiose landscapes and unique wilderness.
Some of their images were featured in Yann ARTHUS BERTRAND’s latest film “Vivant”, and Alexandre was also a fixer and drone pilot in Iceland for François-Xavier VIVES’ film.
Exposition
Our exhibition features one of our favorite animals: the polar fox.
We have chosen to present a series of photographs taken in Iceland, on the Honrstrandir peninsula, in extreme weather conditions, with snowstorms and blizzards.
The polar fox in Iceland is only protected in the Hornstrandir region, and is still hunted in the rest of the country. Unfortunately, it is also still bred in some countries for the fur trade.
Our aim with this exhibition is to show the incredible will to survive and will to live of these animals.
