Photographs
Photographer, naturalist and passionate about art and nature since a young age, I left my native Pyrenees mountains to settle in Iceland 12 years ago.
In the Westfjords, I collaborate with scientists from the Icelandic Nature Institute, documenting animal behavior—particularly the arctic fox—to improve its conservation. I also guide numerous amateur photographers in exploring Icelandic wildlife and landscapes.
During my icelandic photography journey, I got the chance to discover drone photography and specialised in capturing the country’s textures, geology, and its amazing glacial rivers.
Exposition
á.
It’s a simple letter.
With an accent.
Acute, not grave.
Which means you’ll only find it on Icelandic keyboards.
á, pronounced “ow.”
A single letter that’s also a word in Icelandic: “river.”
And a suffix for the names of the country’s largest rivers: Thjorsá, Skaftá, Jökulsá, Brunná.
á is a documentary, aesthetic, and abstract work on the history of water and its many twists and turns.
The story of the glacier that gradually disappears, of the river that sculpts the landscape, sowing chaos and life, and of the ocean that awaits it.
