Photographs
Professional photographer, Thierry VEZON has dedicated himself to photography since 2004. Even though he likes to travel, his favorite places are located in the south of France. Specialized in wildlife and landscape photography, he spends very long hours on the lookout, always with respect for nature. He also specializes in aerial photography. Capturing fleeting moments, sharing the emotions felt on the ground, witnessing the beauty of nature’s wonders is essential in his work. He published from 2008 to 2026 about twenty books, the last being ” Camargue en féérie” and ‘‘Fragile nature” published by Alcide (released in May 2026). He regularly exhibits his photos in major festivals and galleries in France and Europe.
Exposition
This exhibition was born from a desire to share my emotion in front of the beauty and fragility of landscapes and wildlife related to wetlands. These are fragile and essential environments. Mangroves are part of it, they consist of resistant trees that grow in the tidal swaying areas.
The photos were taken in Camargue, Kenya and Indonesia (a quarter of the mangrove area on Earth is located in this country). The photos primarily represent the amphibious mangroves nicknamed “dancing trees” in Indonesia.
Many birds depend on a wetland (one out of two), flamingos being the ambassadors. We find them here with their reflections in a certain minimalism.
