Passionate about botany since childhood, it is to immortalize the splendors of the plant kingdom (often ignored) that I started photography.
My photographic approach aims to restore the plant to its natural biotope and I travel to many countries in search of plant rarities.
Rémi DEPALLE
A lover of photography for a few years and an observer of nature since childhood, I like to spend time outdoors to merge these two passions. Photography allows me to anchor these moments lived in time, and to be able to immerse myself in them again.
Exposition
SOCOTRA is a small Yemeni archipelago, located between the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, near the Gulf of Aden, Somalia and continental Yemen. Despite its small area (less than half of Corsica), its geological history has made it an extraordinary and unique center of biodiversity in the world, with incredible endemicism! 95% of snails, 90% of reptiles, 37% of plants are only found on these small islands and nowhere else on the planet!
There are so many treasures to discover on this island that we can’t show everything so we had to make difficult choices.
