Photographs
Above all, a nature lover, nature photography has been a passion of mine for the past fifteen years or so. My approach was initially more naturalistic, before evolving toward a more creative and aesthetic vision in my images, with a particular fondness at first for macrophotography. But with the long and harsh winters of Lorraine, I began photographing the many wading birds, passerines, and birds of prey found in our region and beyond. Through my personal and professional travels, I have also had the opportunity to encounter species that are more difficult to approach, such as the black bear in Quebec, the quetzal in Costa Rica, and the large wading birds of Senegal…
Exposition
The cloud forests of Costa Rica, nestled in the heart of the mountains, are distinguished by their tropical nature and constant humidity. Thanks to this uniquely humid environment, they are home to some of the richest and most diverse ecosystems on the planet. They shelter an extraordinary variety of birds (989 species recorded in Costa Rica), including the emblematic toucans, hummingbirds, macaws, as well as the Montezuma oropendola and the famous quetzal. This exhibition presents around twenty species in their natural habitat.
