Olivier JARRY-LACOMBE is a self-taught photographer and committed traveler, driven by a passion for wide open spaces, freedom, and adventure.
After more than fifteen years working in finance, he chose to reinvent his life by placing his family, travel, and photography at the heart of his daily life.
This quest for authenticity has led him on numerous long-term journeys across Europe, experiences that have profoundly transformed his perspective on the world.
His work, exhibited in France and abroad, is regularly featured in both mainstream and specialized publications, and has also been recognized on the national and international photography scene.
Through his images, he shares a sensitive and immersive vision that invites both escape and reflection.
Exposition
This journey began without a destination.
Through ancient forests, misty valleys, deserted shores, and ruined cities, I followed the veins of a Europe that is rarely — if ever — truly seen anymore.
The landscapes spoke to me: some with such pure beauty that they seemed to belong to another time. Others, scarred and wounded, carried the weight of our era — that of waste, concrete, fire, and abandonment.
This exhibition is as much an inner landscape as it is a physical journey.
It moves between wonder and warning.
Between what we choose to forget… and what comes back to haunt our gaze.
I invite you to cross these lands as one crosses a wavering dream: suspended between light and disappearance.
