You were waiting for it? Her is the official poster of the 2024 Montier Photo Festival with this beautiful European Goldfinch!
This photo represent the 27th festival, for 3 reasons:
– The photo itself is very aesthetic
– The European Goldfinch is a common bird and it’s only natural to highlight a species «from home» to symbolize «Biodiversity in France».
– Goldfinch is currently and badly coveted and illegal trafficking of this magnificent bird exists. Fortunately, many are dismantled. The goldfinch is endangered because of these trafficking, and we condemn it. This is a topic that will be discussed in November in our conference cycle.
The photo is signed Nicolas GROFFAL (Nicolas Poussin Photographies, future exhibitor 2024) and the design was created by Mathias GROSCLAUDE, graphic designer from Aube department.
The 27th Montier Photo Festival will take place from 21 to 24 November in Montier-en-Der!
