I grew up between the Alps and the Auvergne, and I’ve always loved Nature, wide open spaces and animals.
I learned silver-based photography at a very early age and, after a long break, I started photography again a few years ago, in the company of my French-German wife, Daniella, to whom I’ve passed on my love of photography.
Exposition
Svalbard, land of extremes and contrasts, but also land of wonder ! We’ve chosen to explore the Kingdom of the polar Bear. Far away from our landmarks, only the wide open spaces offer themselves to us.
The polar day is here – the glaciers rise majestically before us, their reflections an invitation to meditation. A rich but discreet fauna is waiting to be discovered : polar foxes play hide-and-seek, walruses bask on the sand, …
80° North – the magic happens ! The King of the Ice-pack awaits us quietly – stretched out after a good meal, grooming in progress and playing pranks – we enjoy his presence until the fog appears and the bear disappears into the icy-water ! Stars shine in our eyes forever !
