Françoise Serre Collet is a herpetologist at the National Museum of Natural History, a specialist in reptiles and amphibians in France. In addition to her work on behaviors, she is in charge of scientific mediation and works on the rehabilitation of snakes, which are little known and often unloved species. Through photography, she tries to make these animals known. The photo being an essential educational support for knowledge, it comes to illustrate its conferences, articles, exhibitions, books whose objective is the rehabilitation of these animals for a better in situ conservation.
Exposition
Through photographs taken in nature, the author shows the life of the snakes of France. The different species (snakes and vipers) but especially their way of life: Food, reproduction, hatching and/or calving, thermoregulation etc… Each photo is accompanied by an explanatory text.
