After a master’s degree in Biodiversity, Ecology, and Evolution, I became an ornithologist-ecologist. Since then, I have been working within environmental protection associations. In 2021, I spent 15 months in the Crozet archipelago for the French Southern Territories National Nature Reserve. There, I conducted ornithological monitoring and managed activities related to conservation and awareness.
To not be the only one to enjoy the intimate moments with the wildlife that my job offers, I have decided to document them through photography. Sharing the reality of wild life, conveying my knowledge and emotions.
I enjoy getting to know a species first and foremost, anticipating its reactions and habits. Photographing it is not an end in itself ; experiencing a moment out of time is.

Almost alone…
… in the southern lands
… in the company of 69,000 pairs of King Penguins
… human beings in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
Spending a fifteen-month wintering period on Possession Island for a scientific mission allowed me to observe King pinguins throughout their breeding cycle, from courtship displays to the departure of the young into the sea, with disconcerting proximity.
The photographs of this atypical bird are accompanied by texts creating a parallel between the human life led on an isolated scientific base and that experienced by the penguins. I invite you to share a piece of this experience and feel the wind, the simplicity, the solidarity, the silence, the hustle and bustle … and feel « almost alone ».
