  Photographs

– Stephan BORENSZTAJN has been doing microphotography for 30 years, in the field of scientific research. He has worked in three different laboratories with distinct themes: the Institut Physique du Globe in Paris (minerals), EDF (solar collectors) and the Laboratoire Interfaces et Systèmes Electrochimiques (metals). He practices scanning electron microscopy full-time with passion and has therefore had the opportunity to use different machines that have given him the opportunity to observe many species of living organisms, especially thanks to his numerous collaborations with the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris (insects, plants, plankton, etc.)

Exposition

– The 18 photographs in this exhibition will retrace five years of colorized scanning electron microscopy photographs of aquatic microorganisms collected from various waters around the world.
– These photographs will allow the general public to discover a new, little-known universe and offer a fresh perspective on the world around us.
– This exhibition is the culmination of 30 years of passionate practice of scanning electron microscopy and the deepening of the colorization technique with Photoshop.
