Students overcoming the stress of exams, children with autism spectrum disorder experiencing some form of healing, victims who are confident when testifying before judges, inmates whose reintegration is made a little less difficult, isolated seniors who find a certain joie de vivre, ... All this thanks to the presence of horses, dogs, rabbits, cats or birds. Laurence Paoli went to meet those whose lives have changed as well as scientists who study these beneficial relationships, whether they are maintained with companion animals or developed through animal mediation practices.
