Aged 31 and originally from a small hamlet between Gironde and Charente-Maritime in France, I grew up among forests, plains, and marshes. A rich and familiar environment that I explore with passion and solitude, documenting the local wildlife—with a deep fascination for nocturnal raptors, who have led me to the far reaches of wonder.

I’m committed to following the species I encounter over time, both to deepen my personal knowledge and in the hope that my images and stories will resonate with those who discover them.

A true quest for simplicity, meaning, and rootedness.

Exposition

Charismatic with her large black eyes, immaculate plumage, and ghostly appearance, the ,Barn Owl lives close to humans while maintaining an air of mystery—making every encounter a striking and memorable event.

From the painstaking scouting to the countless hours of waiting in hopes of glimpsing the aptly named “White Lady,” this exhibition retraces the long-term follow-up of several barn owls and their broods, through a series of images captured over the years in the heart of the Gironde Estuary, in France.

All photographed in natural light, this work seeks to highlight the beauty of this secretive species while also drawing attention to the threats it faces—chiefly, the severe reduction of its habitat.
