My paperwork begins with a pair of binoculars. I take the trails that go through the forests near my home. I walk slowly, I leave silence between my steps. Sometimes I sit in the same place for hours, camouflaged from head to toe to make myself forget. Who will I meet? The huge bearded vulture or the delicate long-tailed tit, the majestic deer or the stealthy fox? Watching them inspires me. Their beauty crosses me with unspeakable emotions. We share this land with a myriad of living beings. Learn to live together again. That is the emergency. Rediscover the humility of being just one among many. We all have a common origin. What if it was a square of paper? My name is Jonathan Rebouillat. I create origami, pieces of folded paper, inspired by my naturalistic observations.

Exposition

The exhibition Origami Sauvage brings together my most recent works. These are mainly models of birds, which I observe all around my home, in the heart of the Pyrenees.
